The United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) is a federal agency that processes several hundred thousand patent and trademark applications per year.

ISG provided assistance to the USPTO for the assessment and evaluation of EAI technology. Work performed for the USPTO included advice in determining whether these products support the project mission of TEAM (Tools for Electronic Application Management), a very large scale initiative at the USPTO.

This was achieved by reviewing and prioritizing requirements, facilitating group reviews of the high level architecture, preparation of use cases for a Proof-of-Concept (PoC) of EAI products, project management of the PoC and the selected vendors, as well as documentation of the benefits and disadvantages of the EAI products, including presentations to USPTO management.
